Going from a bare lot to a slab takes quite a bit of time and effort.
First we have to bond with the lot a little (a very scientific process, we assure you).
Afterwards we clear an envelope for the construction site, saving as many trees as possible.
By then we have a good idea of which Hamon Home design we’re going to build so it’s off to the architect.
Since we learn something new every time we build a home, after almost 20 years our designs have gone through several evolutions.
Next, we go to the foundation engineer and get soil samples to engineer a solid foundation plan.
Finally, the slab contractor we’ve been working with since the beginning gets to work.
